You know those moments with your kids when you think, I wish I had a picture of this? Then you reach for your phone and the moment shifts—or you get the picture, but you’re not in it.

This time, you can enjoy the whole thing with your family while I take care of the pictures. No reaching for your phone. No missing the moment because you were trying to capture it.

Just show up and have fun together.

This year, we’re stepping into Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen. The kids decorate Christmas cookies to take home and leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve, while the grown-ups join in on the fun.

No baking or complicated activities. Just cookies to decorate and time together while I take care of the photographs.

Just show up. I’ll take the pictures.

After years of dreaming up, designing, and building these Christmas sets, I wanted this year’s experience to bring together the things I love most about photographing families.

These sessions have become such a special part of my photography journey. I’ve watched families grow, welcomed familiar faces back year after year, and poured an absolutely ridiculous amount of time and love into creating spaces where you can simply show up and enjoy being together.

So this year, there’s a little Christmas fun, room for genuine interactions, and two very different settings for photographs you’ll be happy to look back on years from now.

Before we make memories

A few little
details.

What is included in our session?

Your 30-minute session includes Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen and the Santa Goes Vogue portrait setup, plus 12 professionally edited digital images. Optional gallery upgrades are available.

Do we get to decorate real cookies?

Yes! The kids decorate their own Christmas cookies to take home and leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve, while the grown-ups join in. There’s no baking and no complicated activity. Just a little Christmas fun together while I take care of the photographs.

Do we need to know how to pose?

Not at all! The kitchen is all about genuine interactions while you decorate cookies together. Then we move into Santa Goes Vogue for more styled family portraits. I’ll guide you through it all. No modelling experience required!

How much does a session cost?

Weekday sessions are $260 CAD + tax, and weekend sessions are $285 CAD + tax. The weekday price already includes the $25 saving. Optional gallery upgrades are available separately.

How do I find an available date?

Can parents join in too?

Absolutely. I created Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen with the whole family in mind: a space where you can have a good time together. Think of it as a little Christmas date with your favourite people, with beautiful photographs to remember it by.
