First and foremost: I want this to be fun! For you and for myself as well. When we get together you will find a very excited person. I love doing what I do! I’ll treat you as a friend and you’ll become the focus of my attention, and most definitely the audience to my jokes.

I will give you prompts to make you move around as opposed to posing. I will talk to you, ask things about your lives, and try my best to keep the flow of the session organic and light. I always make sure to sit everyone tight for a traditional portrait, but the bond and the fun times are the absolute essence of the photos we will capture.

So try to relax and enjoy as much as you can, even if you’ve had to dance to “head, shoulders, knees and toes” 137 times on that day to keep the kids’ mood up for the pictures.

This is when we discuss the details of your session - where it will take place, what to wear and any other questions you might have. This can happen via text messages or emails over the days before your session, or we can set up a call and talk through everything at once. You decide!

Heck yeah! It’s always special when there are pets in the family! In this case I recommend that the session take place in your home, where your pet can roam safely and freely. When on location, it might be a good idea to bring a friend to watch your pet on the moments they’re off camera. Otherwise, a member of your family might not be able to relax and enjoy as much.

Absolutely. In fact, most of my clients start off with the basic package and upgrade when they see the beautiful, amazing pictures on their galleries :)
